The beach was perfectly clean and clear when we were here! We have been to other resorts in Laiya over many years, and Acuaverde has always had the cleanest waters and shores. The resort was fully booked but it never felt crowded. And despite pets, the resort (including the walkways and amenities and common areas) were also very clean. Our room was also fairly big, good for 4 adults and a pet. Buffet food is also good. Lastly and most noticeably, their service was EXCELLENT.
